Our school librarian is vital for student achievement. Most importantly, she collaborates with all teachers to plan and teach overlapping lessons in all content areas, while adding the technology emphasis that is required. In addition, our amazing librarian meets with small groups of students in specialized groups to help students understand difficult concepts. She provides these extra services on top of the “normal” librarian duties. We need to keep the librarians in our schools!
